Today (march 26) is Richard Dawkins birthday who invented the word "MEME" in his seminal 1976 book "The selfish jane".

So, what is Meme ? 

" A meme is an idea or thought or creation or behaviour which is put together in  a single image to make people laugh or to make them think or maybe guiding them to make the right choice"

When the term MEME got trend in southern india

On Jan 8 2017 a  protest started among tamizhans to protect thier traditions in marina beach. Yes it's Jallikattu protest. It's the reason tamil meme creators got trend all over the world. Meme creators are the one who took this problem worldwide. Like this many times meme creators joined thier hands to support the right things.For eg. Chennai flood , Sathakulam murder, Thoothukodi police shoot, recently Zomoto delivery guy....
