 7 MYSTERIOUS PLACES TO VISIT IN INDIA :

 In this blog, we are going to see the top most Mysterious places in india to visit.


1. Dowhill, Kurseong, West Bengal



Dowhill, one of the most haunted palce in India which is located just about 30 kilometers from Darjeeling. The Dowhill is both the Beauty and Beast. A small hill on which on side has beautiful gardens, hills,tea plantations... on the other side it is also know as Home to Death road, headless ghost, haunted school and countless real ghost stories. Many tourists have reported that they have seen a heardless ghost of a young boy roaming out in the woods and disappearing  in the forests. A hundered year old Victoria Boys School which is surrounded by the haunted forest, the local people have heard loud mumbles and sound of footsteps during vaction peroids 


2. Karni Mata Temple 


Karni Mata Temple which is located in Deshnoke, Rajasthan, India otherwise called as " Temple of Rats ". This temple has world over tourists just to see the rats in the temple. In this temple there are more than 25000 rats alive. Out of thousands of rats there are few white rats which are considered especially as holy. If you accidently step in any rats you have to replace it with Gold or Silver. 


3. Jatingha, Assam 


Jatingha, a small village of 2500 peoples located in Assam. A place here thousands of  birds suicide during a particular period. At the end of moonsoon month particulary on moon less nights between 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. almost 44 species of birds are distrubed and strangled the birds towards light of the cities. Later it was found that the local tribes in the village kill the birds with bamboo sticks thinking that they are " spirits flying from the sky to terrorize them". However now those people have had so many sessions of counseling and now death of birds has been reduced to 45%. 


4. Kodinhi, the village of twins 


Kodinhi a village located in Mallappuram district in Kerala suited around 35 kilometers from calicut. This village is famous for having high twin birth rates. Estimatedly now there 400+ pair of twins and has a population of more than 2000 families. It is still a mystery for scientists about the twin birth rate. 


5. Hampi, the musical pillars 


Indian temples are always been mysterious one in every aspect, like that Vittala temple in Hampi well known for its architecture and craftmanship. It was built in the 15th century. Now the noteable feature of this temple is that the musical pillars. It has tottaly 56 musical pillars every main pillar is wrapped by 7 minor pillars and these pillar delivers different sounds. During British period two pillars where cut down to see what makes those sound from inside but it was hollow inside.


6. Levitating stone at Maharashtra

Shivapur, a place in Maharashtra about 180 kilometers east of Mumbai which  is famous for levitating stone. This stone approximately wieghs around 200 kilograms. This stone can be lifted only when 11 memebers touch the stone with their fingers and shout the name " Qamar Ali Darvesh "and the stone flies up in the air. It can't be lifted by any means. This one is definitely a Mystery. 


7. Floating stones of Rameswaram  


Tamil nadu holds immense importance for the Hindu mythology. A popular pilgrimage spot because according to Ramayana, lord Rama's varana sena built a bridge of floating stones all the way to Sri Lanka. The stones would afloat once the name of lord Rama was scraped on it. Many such floating stones haven been found in Rameswaram. The mythology talk has some archaeological proves that make it one of the most mysterious places in India.
