DESPITE THE LOSE AGAINST NZ, MEN IN BULE CAN STILL QUALIFY FOR SEMI-FINALS : HERE'S HOW
The defeat aganist NewZealand has terribly shattered the chance for Men in Bule to qualify for semi-finals, but on the happening of certain contingent events India can still qualify for T20 World cup Semi-finals.
In the Opening Match, On 24 Oct. India was outplayed by their Arch-rivaliries Pakistan by gaint Margin of 10 Wickets. After a one week gap on 31st Oct. again India was defeated by Newzealand by 8 wicket margin. After this loss India's Chance of qualifiying into semi-finals as drasticly reduced. But there is still a chance to make to semi-finals.
At First India has to Win all the 3 upcoming Matches. The Men in Bule will need to beat Afghanistan, which is placed second on the table with a Great net run rate of (+3.097), Scotland and Namibia by big margins to improve its own NRR.
Pakistan has to win its remaning matches against Scotland and Namibia to finish at the top of the table.
For India to stand a chance, New Zealand must beat Afghanistan but not by a great margin and in the unlikeliest of scenarios, one of Namibia and Scotland need to full off an upset against Kiwis.
Even if all these results go India's way, then New Zealand and India will finish Six Points each. Now the NRR will be the deciding factor for second Semi-finalist.
